Clinical
    

Clinical membership classification is granted to those applicants who either have:

1) an academically recognized advanced psychotherapy degree from a program which incorporates body psychotherapy; or
2) an academically recognized advanced degree in a psychotherapy discipline and certification from a recognized body psychotherapy program; or
3) certification from a recognized body psychotherapy training program and training in formal prinicples of psychotherapy.

Clinical members are eligible to vote, eligible for the Locator Service, receive Journal subscription, newsletter, and other membership services. -- $150 per year.
Associate
    

Associate membership classification is granted to those applicants who either have:

1) formal professional health or mental health related training, but do not have body psychotherapy training; or
2) qualified in body or touch centered practices.

Associate membership is non-voting, receives Journal subscription, newsletter, and other membership services.  -- $125 per year.
Student
     Student membership classification is granted to those applicants who are enrolled in a degree granting or certification program.  Student membership is granted for a maximum of 4 years and must be upgraded to Clincal or Associate membershp upon graduation or otherwise ending enrollment.  This classification is not available for practicing professionals (practicing professionals must apply for Clinical or Associate membership).  

Non-voting member, receives Journal subscription, newsletter and other member services.  -- $50 per year.
Affiliate
    

Affiliate membership classification is granted to any person who is interested in the field of body psychotherapy, supports the mission and goals of the USABP, and does not otherwise qualify for membership. 

Affiliate membership is non-voting, receives Journal subscription, newsletter, and other membership services.  -- $75 per year.
Institutional
    

Institutional membership classification is granted to institutions, such as schools, training centers, organizations, or clinics, that are related to the field of body psychotherapy and support the mission and golas of the USABP.

5 copies of the newsletter, 2 copies of the Journal, presence on the USABP web site (for schools) in the "Becoming a Body Psychotherapist" section that will connect you with potential students, discounted newsletter advertising, discounted table at conferences, public identification with the body psychotherapy community and gives your institution greater visibility, and supports USABP's efforts in the development of the body psychotherapy field -- $250 per year.
Non-Member Conference Registrant
     This category is only for individuals wishing to attend the conference without becoming a member of the USABP.  Registration information provided will be used only to maintain the conference registration in our system.
